Some Safety Tips To Follow While Your Enjoying
A Refreshing Ice Cream Treat |
| Cross at Rear |
| Always cross at rear after buying
your ice cream, always cross from the rear of the
truck. NEVER cross at
the front of the truck. You will not be able to see
approaching vehicles, and they will not have enough
time to react safely. By crossing the street behind
the ice cream truck, you will be able to see other
cars, and they will be able to see you. |
|
 |
| Curbside Only |
| Always go to the side of the ice
cream truck that is parked on the curbside. NEVER stand
in the street. Ice cream will only be sold from
the curbside, so stay off the roadway. |

| Drive Safely Around Ice Cream
Trucks! |
| When you see an ice cream truck,
slow down! There are likely to be pedestrians and
children in the area. Summer Song trucks are equipped
with flashing lights, warning signs and safety
swing arms. But only YOU can
slow down. Kids, there is no reason to run to the
ice cream truck! The ice cream truck is looking
for you and will make sure to stop. |
